peace
Are you searching for the missing peace in your life? Have you determined that finding your peace is elusive in this post-pandemic world we are now living in?
With the possibility of an impending war inside our own country; a fearful financial crisis with bank failures; floods, earthquakes, tornados, and volcanos destroying homes and businesses more than ever before; and supply and food shortages that have no end in sight, we may be feeling no peace at all. We all need to find the missing peace.
If you’re searching for peace, you’ll find it to be greatest with our Creator, God. He is waiting to help you with open arms.
You may find some peace within your families and with friends. Maybe you’re trying to find your peace by eliminating your intake of the daily news that can be so overwhelming. Maybe you’re using other resources to escape life’s troubles that may actually lead to even more lack of peace.
Numbers 6:26 gives us hope: “May the Lord show you His favor and give you His peace.”
If we let Him, God will transform us into a new creature in Christ. He gives us what we need, not necessarily always what we may want. We need to believe and have faith in Him. Then we can simply ask Him for the peace we need.
I pray, this will be your experience:
“It doesn’t matter whether we have been circumcised or not. What counts is whether we have been transformed into a new creation. May God’s peace and mercy be upon all who live by this principle; they are the new people of God.” (Galatians 6:15-16)
Until we virtually meet again, may God call you to Himself!
God's Word for Today: “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)
